Aiyāṟu where water reaches with pearls that are produced in the mountain, other precious stones and sandal-wood that are carried by the waves.
கலை ஆர் மதியோடு உரம் நீரும் நிலை ஆர் சடையார் இடம் ஆகும்
is the place for Civaṉ who has on his caṭai permanently strong water and a crescent of three phases.

{$} மதியின்னொடு சேர் கொடி மாடம் மதியம் பயில்கின்ற ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu in whose storeys the flags touch the moon, the moon always stays.
மதிஒன்றிய கொன்றை வடத்தான்
Civaṉ has a single strand of koṉṟai in whose storeys the flags touch the moon, the moon always stays.
மதி ஒன்றிய கொன்றைவடத்தான்
Civaṉ has a single strand of koṉṟai which is united with the crescent.
மதிஒன்ற உதைத்தவர் வாழ்வு
is the residence of the god who kicked the moon with his foot to come into contact with it.

{$} திக்கின் இசை தேவர் வணங்கும் (1) அக்கின் அரையாரது ஐயாறே
aiyāṟu belonging to Civaṉ who wears on his waist conch-beads, and who is worshipped by the tēvar of the eight quarters who rule over them.
கொக்கின் இறகின்னொடு வன்னிபுக்க சடையார்க்கு இடம் ஆகும்
is the place for Civaṉ in whose caṭai a flower resembling crane's feather and leaves of vaṉṉi tree are tucked inside.

{$} மறை கொண்ட நல் வானவர் சம்மில் அறையும் ஒலி சேரும் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu where the sound of songs which the tēvar who are invisible to the people of this earth, sing among themselves, combine together.
சிறைகொண்டபுரம் அவை சிந்தக் கறை கொண்டவர் காதல் செய்கோயில்
is the temple desired by Civaṉ who assumed anger to destroy the cities which had wings.

{$} அமை ஓர் உடல் (1) சோர்தரமுத்தம் அமையாவரும் அம்தண் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu, beautiful and cool, where the pearls which shed as the joints of bamboos split, come along with the water.
உமையாள் ஒருபாகம் அது ஆகச் சமைவார் அவர் சார்வு இடம் ஆகும்
is the place of residence for Civaṉ who has on his body Umaiyāḷ as one half.

{$} நிலைகொண்ட மனத்தவர் நித்தம் மலர் கொண்டு வணங்கும் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu where people of steady and unwavering minds daily worship god with flowers.
தலையின் தொடைமாலை அணிந்து
having warn a garland fastened with skulls.
கலைகொண்டது ஓர் கையினர் சேர்வு ஆம்
is the residence of Civaṉ who has a deer on one hand.

{$} வரை நின்று இழிவார்தருபொன்னி, அரவம் கொடு சேரும் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu where poṉṉi which flows descending from the mountain with serpent.
வரம் ஒன்றிய மாமலரோன் தன் சிரம் ஒன்றை அறுத்தவர் சேர்வு ஆம்
is the abode of Civaṉ who nipped with his nails one of the heads of the great Piramaṉ seated in a lotus flower.

{$} விரையின் மலர் மேதகு பொன்னித் திரைதன்னொடு சேரும் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu which is reached by poṉṉi with waves and is eminent with flowers of fragrance.
வரை ஒன்ற எடுத்த அரக்கன் (1) சிரம் மங்க நெரித்தவர் சேர்வு ஆம்
is the place of Civaṉ who crushed the heads of the arakkaṉ who lifted the mountain having set his mind on it, to decrease in strength.

{$} கொங்கில் பொலியும் புனல் (1) கொண்டு அங்கிக்கு எதிர்காட்டும் ஐயாறு
aiyāṟu whose water eminent with honey is offered as oblations by those who maintain the three sacred fires.
(2) சங்கக்கயனும் அறியாமைப் பொங்கும் சுடர் ஆனவர்கோயில்
is the temple of civan who grew into an increasing column of fire so as not to be found by Māl who holds a conch in his hand, and Piramaṉ.

தவராசர்கள் தாமரையானோடு அவர்தாம் அணை அம்தண்ஆறு
the beautiful and cool aiyāṟu which is reached by sages eminent by sages eminent by their penance along with Piramaṉ, is the abode of Civaṉ.

{$} அலை ஆர்புனல் சூழும் ஐயாற்றை, கலைஆர் கலிக்காழியர் மன்னன்
about Aiyāṟu which is surrounded by water full of waves, the chief of the residents of Kāḻi which is always with the bustle of arts and with which it is fall.
நலம் ஆர்தரு ஞானசம்பந்தன் சொலுமாலை வல்லார் துயர் வீடே
the sufferings of those who are able to recite the garlands of verses composed by Ñāṉacampantaṉ who has many good qualities, will leave them.
