Civan on whose head Kaṅkai stays and who dwells in Tirup Puttūr where the large gardens which have good fragrance and have increasing honey desired by all, always plays with the moon.
எங்கள் உச்சி உறையும் இறையார் (ஏ)
is the supreme god who stays on our heads.

the god, Civaṉ who dwells without any defect in tirupputtūr where tēṉ and vaṇṭu are alwaysin the large gardens which have good fragrance which increases in summer.
ஏனமுள்ளும் எயிறும் புனைவார் (ஏ)
adorns himself with sharp bones of the hog and its tusk.

Civaṉ who dwells in the eminent temple in tirupputtūr where the koṉṟai trees which contain honey so that the good bees with lines on their body hum like music in the sides, are flourishing.
தாங்கு திங்கள் தவழ்புன்சடையார்(ஏ)
has a ruddy caṭai on which the crescent he bears crawls.

{$} நாற விண்ட நறுமாமலர் கவ்வி, தேறல் வண்டு திளைக்கும் திருப்புத்தூர், ஊறு அல வாழ்க்கை உடையார் (அவர்) (போலும்)
Civaṉ who leads a life having amassed property in tirupputtūr where the bees are always drinking the honey seizing it with eargerness in the big and good flowers which unfold their petals to spread fragrance.
ஏறுகொண்ட கொடி எம் இறையார் (ஏ)
is our supreme god who has on his flag the form of a bull.

Civaṉ who moves with his votaries, their devotion to become prominentin tirupputtūr which is surrounded by gardens which are famous in all directions and which is beautiful as fame which is eminent surrounds it with loftiness.
வசை விளங்கும் (1) வடிசேர் நுதலார் (ஏ)
has a forehead which is perfect according to rules of beauty on which there is an eminent lady.

Civaṉ who is a very bright light in tirupputtūr where water of clear colour flows.
வெள்நிறத்த விடைசேர் கொடியார் (ஏ)
has a flag on which there is the form of a bull of white colour drawn.

{$} நெய்தல் ஆம்பல் கழுநீர் மலர்ந்து எங்கும் செய்கள் மல்கும் சிவனார் திருப்புத்தூர்த் தையல்பாகம் மகிழ்ந்தார்(அவர்)(போலும்)
god who felt pleasure in having on one half a young lady in tirupputtūr, belonging to Civaṉ where blue nelunbo flowers, white indian water-lily and purple indian water lily flowers have blossomed everywhere in the fields and are flourishing
மை உண் நஞ்சம் மருவும் மிடற்றார் (ஏ)
is one who has a neck where the black poison is staying.

{$} கருக்கம் எல்லாம் கமழும் பொழில்சோலைத் திருக்கொள்செம்மை விழவுஆர் திருப்புத்தூர் இருக்கவல்ல இறைவர்(அவர்) (போலும்)
the supreme god who is capable of remaining in tirupputtūr where eminent festivals with wealth are conducted and which has big gardens which lend fragrance when rain-clouds come into contact with them.
அரக்கன் ஒல்க விரலால் அடர்த்தார் (ஏ)
pressed down by his toe the arakkaṉ to be reduced in strength.

{$} மருவி எங்கும் வளரும் மடமஞ்சை தெருவுதோறும் திளைக்கும் திருப்புத்தூர் பெருகிவாழும் பெருமான் (அவன்)(போலும்)
the god who dwells with increasing fame in tirupputtūr where the young peacocks which rejoice everywhere having become accustomed to living in that place, are permanently staying in every street.
பரமன்(உம்) மாலும் அறியாப் பெரியோன்(ஏ)
is the great god whom Piramaṉ and Māl could not know.

{$} கூறைபோர்க்கும் தொழிலார் அமண்கூறல் தேறல் வேண்டா
(People of this world!) Do not accept as truth what the buddhists who cover their bodies and amanar, talk.

Civaṉ who is in the six aṅkams and the four vetams and is in tirupputtūr is the supreme god who has a flag on which the form of a bull is drawn.

{$} நல்ல கேள்வி ஞானசம்பந்தன் செல்வர் சேடர் உறையும் திருப்புத்தூர்ச் சொல்லப் பாடல் வல்லார் தமக்கு என்னும் அல்லல் தீரும்
sufferings will come to an end to those who are able to recite the verses in praise of Tirupputtūr where the god who is the repositary of all wealth and who survives everything, dwells, done by Ñāṉacampantaṉ who had gained knowledge by listening to good words of wisdom
